SuperM (슈퍼엠) is a South Korean supergroup formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group. Described as the “Avengers of K-pop”, they made their American debut on October 4, 2019, with their self-titled mini-album. Their debut EP entered the Billboard 200 at number one, making SuperM the second South Korean group in history to top the US album chart, as well as the first Korean act to do so with their debut release. Their debut single, “Jopping”, is among Billboard’s Critics’ picks of “25 Best K-pop Songs” of the year. The group consists of seven members from four SM Entertainment boy groups: Taemin from Shinee, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127 and Ten and Lucas from WayV.
In August 2020, the group announced their debut album, Super One, to be released in September 2020. Prior to the albums release, two singles, “100” and “Tiger Inside” will be released on August 14 and September 1 respectively.
