Weeekly (위클리) is a seven-member girl group under IST Entertainment. They debuted on June 30, 2020 with their first mini album We Are.
2020: Debut with We Are
– On May 8, 2020, Play M confirmed PlayM GIRLS would be making their debut sometime in June. On May 11, the group’s debuting name Weeekly and its members were revealed.
– On June 12, a teaser timeline revealed the release of the group’s first mini album, We Are, was set for June 30 On this day, Weeekly officially debuted with the mini album and its title track “Tag Me (@Me)”.
– On August 23, the group announced their official fandom name, Daileee.
-The group released their second mini album We Can on October 13, featuring the lead single “Zig Zag“.
2021: We Play, Play Game : Holiday
– On February 18, 2021, Weeekly released their second OST single, “Wake Up“, for the KBS drama Hello, Me!.
– The group released their third mini album We Play, featuring “After School” as the lead single on March 17.
– The group released their fourth mini album Play Game: Holiday on August 4, featuring “Holiday Party” as the lead single.
2022: Play Game: Awake
– The group will release their first single album Play Game: Awake on March 7, featuring “Ven Para” as the lead single.
– On February 28, 2022, it was announced that Shin Ji-yoon would be taking a hiatus temporarily due to tension and anxiety
