BamBam (Korean: 뱀뱀; Thai: แบมแบม) is a Thai rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer under ABYSS Company based in South Korea, and a member of the boy band GOT7. He made his solo debut on June 15, 2021 with his first mini album Ribbon.
2014–2020: Debut and solo activities
– He officially debuted in boy group GOT7 with the mini album Got It? on January 16, 2014.
– In 2017, BamBam produced the lyric video for Got7’s song “You Are” from the group’s seventh mini-album 7 for 7.
– On September 28, 2018, he shared a self-directed, self-edited video titled “My Year 2018” on Got7’s official YouTube account to thank fans for their support.
– In May 2019, he became the spokesman of a campaign launched by UNICEF Thailand and the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security against children abuse.
2021: Departure from JYP Entertainment, new agency, solo debut with Ribbon
– On January 19, 2021, following the expiration of his contract, he left JYP Entertainment.
– On March 5, 2021, Abyss Company announced that BamBam had signed an exclusive contract with them.
– On June 15, he made his solo debut in South Korea with his first mini-album, Ribbon, and its title track of the same name.
– On December 28, 2021, he released the digital pre-single “Who Are You”, featuring Seulgi from Red Velvet.
2022:
– On January 7, he announced the release of his second mini-album, B for January 18, with the title track “Slow Mo”.
